Sponsor a dog or cat at Fur and Feather

Shadow came to Fur & Feather in the cold winter of 2010. Her owner was moving and did not feel she could make the trip. 16-yr-old Shadow spent her entire life living outside, lonely and cold. It only took one day after arriving at her new and final home for her to become a house dog. Shadow loves helping with chores, taking long naps by the fire, and hanging out with her new dog and cat friends. She is in very good shape for her age and seems very happy. When Shadow is napping she is probably dreaming of getting her very own, big, soft dog bed that she doesn't have to share with anyone. Shadow also likes canned food because it is easy to chew. A special girl that deserves to have all life has to offer....
Flora is a 3-yr-old female dog that is truly feral. She was found near death as a young puppy and lived the first two years of her life with a woman that was kind and loving toward her. Floral still does not trust though, and she may never feel comfortable around people. She has found a permanent home at Fur & Feather where there is no pressure, but we do hope that over time she will give us a chance. Floral welcomes treats and warm blankets. Sponsoring this girl would be a big help to FFAA...
Muffin is approx. 14-yrs of age and moved to Fur and Feather in late summer of 2009. It took three weeks to coerce her in, out of the wild, as she had been abandoned on a ranch when her human companion was sent to a resthome. She came to us skinny, scared, and very sad. Chubby Muffin has put her weight back on, loves helping with the chores all day long, getting lots of treats and hugs from visitors, and taking well earned long naps on her heated bed. Muffin has found her final home at the Fur & Feather Farm and never needs to go scared or hungry again. You can sponsor Muffin...
Tigger is a full timer at Fur and Feather that arrived early in Fall 2009. Tigger comes from the North of Taos where he was found at an abandoned animal shelter surviving on his own. He is a very happy dog doing his daily activities which include watching out for visitors, making sure the young dogs behave, and helping to keep the ravens from eating all the dog food. Tigger enjoys going for walks, getting his back scratched, and eating special treats. Make an appointment to come meet Tigger and support his lifetime care at Fur & Feather...
